Easy Slow Cooker Ham Recipe



This simple ham recipe for the slow cooker only needs two ingredients and not much work. It makes a ham that is both sweet and savory and perfect for any event.

Ingredients:

  • 1 5-7 pound pre-cooked ham
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions:

Do not cook the ham until you put it in the slow cooker

Cover the ham in brown sugar

Keep the lid on and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or until everything is hot

Delicious Lentil Wraps



The lentils, fresh vegetables, and spices in these vegan lentil wraps give them a lot of flavor. You can eat them for dinner or lunch, and they are a healthy and filling meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large whole grain tortillas
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced

Instructions:

Put the chili powder, lime juice, diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Add the cooked lentils and mix them all together

You can heat the tortillas up in a pan or the microwave

Put about a quarter of the lentil mix on each tortilla

Put some sliced avocado on top

Cover the filling with the tortilla's sides and roll it up tight

Cut each wrap in half across the middle, then serve

Churros Con Chocolate



A delectable Spanish treat called "churros con chocolate" is made of fried dough and rich, creamy chocolate sauce. It's a delicious treat that's ideal for satisfying your sweet tooth!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 quarts oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Bring to a boil and remove from heat

Stir in 1 cup of flour until the mixture forms a ball

Heat oil for frying in deep-fryer or deep skillet to 375 degrees F 190 degrees C

Transfer the dough to a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip

Pipe strips of dough into the hot oil using kitchen scissors to cut off the strips

Fry until golden; drain on paper towels

Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon

Roll drained churros in cinnamon and sugar mixture

In a separate saucepan, combine cocoa powder, heavy cream, milk chocolate chips, bittersweet chocolate chips, milk, and 1/4 teaspoon salt

Stir over low heat until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth

Serve churros with warm chocolate sauce for dipping

Ultimate Spaghetti and Meatballs



Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with this classic spaghetti and meatballs recipe. The tender meatballs are simmered in a rich tomato sauce and served over perfectly cooked spaghetti.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • Olive oil

Instructions:

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, drain, and set aside

Mix until well combined

Form mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat

Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes

Remove meatballs from skillet and set aside

In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed

Saut onion until translucent, then add crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper

Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally

Return meatballs to the skillet with the sauce

Cover and simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes, until meatballs are cooked through and sauce has thickened

Serve meatballs and sauce over cooked spaghetti

Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired

Instant Pot Lemon Garlic Chicken



The flavors in this Instant Pot Lemon Garlic Chicken are out of this world. When you mix the sourness of lemon with the saltiness of garlic, you get a delicious dish that is also quick and easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

Add salt, pepper, and dried oregano to chicken breasts to make them taste better

Put the Instant Pot in saut mode and heat the olive oil

Add the minced garlic and cook until it smells good

Ingredients:

  • 1 block extra-firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 lb roasted pork shoulder, thinly sliced
