Crispy Tofu



Enjoy crispy tofu bites that are both delicious and vegan-friendly. This recipe offers a healthier alternative by using non-GMO tofu and minimal oil for frying.

Ingredients:

  • 1 block tofu, extra firm
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying

Instructions:

Press tofu to remove excess water, then cut into cubes

In a bowl, mix cornstarch, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, garlic powder, and black pepper

Add tofu cubes to the mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly coat with cooking spray or oil

Add tofu cubes to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or as a topping for salads or rice bowls
